The 1948 Tatra 87 is an icon of luxury aerodynamic design and the pinnacle of designer Hans Ledwinka’s work.
This car has earned worldwide recognition not only for its design, but also for its technical sophistication – as confirmed by the famous expedition of Jiří Hanzelka and Miroslav Zikmund across Africa and South America between 1947-1950.
The heart of the car is an air-cooled eight-cylinder engine located at the rear, while the streamlined body shape ensures exceptional driving characteristics and an unusual level of comfort for its time.
This particular piece underwent thorough renovation in our workshops – from mechanics through bodywork to the interior. Thanks to the combination of all works under one roof, we were able to maintain authenticity while ensuring top condition.
The Tatra 87 was named by The New York Times as the collector’s car of the year 2010 and for us it is always an honor to contribute to the revival of such an exceptional automobile.
